At Flourish we are committed to giving back to the community. We are privileged to have been able to gain the skills and expertise that we have over the course of our careers and there are so many ways that we can use our knowledge and resources to help those in our community who need it most.
Leading up to the 2021 Winter Holidays, our staff, neighbours, clients, and their families came together to pack Love Boxes for the Super Sophia Project ( thesupersophiaproject.ca/ ). These special boxes were distributed to children with cancer at local hospitals over the holidays.
In January of 2022, our Director Beth Dangerfield won the cooking show, Wall of Chefs. With Marie’s support, Beth was able to host a virtual cooking class that benefited Food Share Toronto ( foodshare.net/ ) where participants learned to cook Beth’s winning dish. The event raised over $2000.00 for this food-justice organization.
Other organizations in the community we are passionate about supporting are Help A Girl Out ( helpagirlout.org/ ) and Native Child and Family Services of Toronto (nativechild.org/ ).
