Leah Snider

Leah is an enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. She has happily worked throughout the educational realm for the past seven years. After receiving her BA from Western University and her diploma with honours in Early Childhood Education at Fanshawe College, her love of inclusive education led her to complete her diploma with honours in Autism and Behavioural Science at Fanshawe College. Since then, she has been working and learning alongside families as an Educator, Instructor Therapist, and Behavioural Consultant.

Leah works with children and families across the neurodevelopmental rainbow, focusing on play-based and nature-based learning, and supporting families with self-regulation, academic skill building, and socialization. In her current role as a Community Behavioural Consultant, she works with families to decode behaviours, support a growth mindset, and find healthy ways for children to express themselves. Her passion is to provide individualized, strength-based, and evidence-backed teaching, that honours children’s gifts and abilities.

Leah is excited to join the team at Flourish on Queen as a Direct Instruction Teacher, where she can work with children to develop their skills and celebrate their achievements.
